Service Agreement

By engaging Smokey Mountain Hardwood Floor Service for vinyl flooring installation, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services include professional installation of vinyl flooring products including LVP, vinyl tile, and sheet vinyl flooring.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may vary based on actual measurements and site conditions discovered during installation. We provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees.

• Free estimates for projects over 200 square feet
• Estimates under 200 sq ft: $50 consultation fee (applied to project cost if contracted)
• Emergency service calls: $125 minimum charge

Payment Terms

Payment terms for vinyl flooring installation services:

• Deposit: 25% required to schedule installation (non-refundable after materials ordered)
• Progress payment: 50% due upon material delivery
• Final payment: 25% due upon completion and customer approval
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, check, credit/debit cards
• Late payment fee: 1.5% per month on overdue balances

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Removing all furniture and belongings from installation areas
• Providing clear access to work areas
• Ensuring utilities (electricity, adequate lighting) are available
• Protecting valuable items in adjacent areas
• Arranging for pet accommodation during installation

Installation Terms

Installation schedule and conditions:

• Installation times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen conditions
• Weather delays for deliveries and moisture-sensitive installations may occur
• Access to clean water and electrical outlets required
• Subfloor conditions may require additional preparation not included in initial estimate

Craftsmanship Commitment

We provide a 3-year commitment on installation workmanship covering defects in our installation work. This does not cover normal wear, damage from misuse, or manufacturer material defects which are covered separately under manufacturer warranties.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the flooring installation service provided. We are not responsible for indirect damages, furniture damage during customer's moving process, or issues arising from pre-existing structural problems not disclosed during initial assessment.
